Donald Joseph Qualls, better popularly known as DJ Qualls is an American actor producer and fashion model. He shot to fame after his performance as a character in Road Trip. Since then, he has appeared in 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. In addition to his work as a character in the film, he has been featured in more than 22 television programs like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order as well as other. Qualls was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma around age 14, and has battled it ever since. After two years of treatment, his cancer went into remission. The treatment, however, at such an early age had a severe effect on his body and thwarted the development of his body. As he was raised in poor circumstances, he was determined to attain financial stability. He said, "I've been living so cheap for so many years and I'm desperate for to have financial security, otherwise my life is going to feel chaotic and that's not good for me." He thinks back to his childhood, and has an urge to do something against bullying. The fact that cruel acts break his heart. The best job for DJs is one of a real father. But he says "Directors aren't casting me for these roles." In the future, he'd love to have a baby to allow him to devote much less of his time and more time to his child.
